ABOUT US

Company background and leadership

The company was founded by two accomplished professionals with M.S. in Glass Engineering and a Ph.D. in Advanced Ceramics Engineering from leading universities in the United States and India, having deep expertise across multilayer capacitors, chip resistor technologies, advanced ceramics, electronic glass and adhesives, solar technologies, hybrid systems, Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC), MEMS sensors for automotive applications, LTCC, high-reliability LTCC-M LED technology and flat-panel displays.

With more than seven decades of combined industry experience, the founders and core team have worked extensively in state-of-the-art research laboratories and multinational organizations. Their hands-on expertise spans die-attach adhesives, high-temperature metal, glass, and ceramic adhesives for high reliability electronic environments including space, deep-ocean, and medical applications. The team also brings strong capabilities in microwave processing of glass, ceramic and metal composites.

This collective expertise enabled the development of a glass-core-based hybrid business serving high-reliability customers in the space and defense sector. The company was originally established to address the growing demand for high-reliability paste products under the umbrella of Global Applied Materials (GAM), which was founded in India in the year 2010.

As global market dynamics evolved, the need for diversification and the resolution of potential conflicts of interest led to a strategic transformation. In 2018, the company adopted a new identity as Thejas Nano Electro Ceramics (TNEC). Today, TNEC represents the complete product portfolio of GAM while expanding into equipment representation and ensuring non-conflict production aligned with global industry requirements.
